• In the “Kitty Antics” album, there is one extra Christmas Lights video on the next-to-the-last page;
• In the “Buddies” album, there are four extra videos: two on the Neko and Smooch pages, one of all three cats; and one, “It always starts nicely…,” on the next-to-the-last page.
• In the “Tidbits” album, there are six extra videos: on the first page, there is the “Gelato” video; on the third page is the “Biting” video; on the “Magic Carpet Cats” page, there is a “Rug” video; and there are three extra videos on the “That Darn Cat” pages—the first video of Rani carrying a treat bag around is on the first page, and two on the second page, which is also the final page in that album, are the Yoga and Nutty Cat videos.

Album 1—In the Beginning

With the passing of Me-too, life became very lonely with only one remaining cat…who was almost always sleeping. I recalled how adding Me-too and Smooch to our lives had made the passing of Rajah much easier to bear. And so, we found another pair of kittens, this time a brother and sister. The girl was a typical ruddy Abyssinian and the boy was a fawn. We happily brought them back to their “forever home.”

Album 2—Kitty Antics

There was just no end to the kitty antics with Neko and Rani. From the sheer enjoyment they got from an empty Chewy box, to their toys, and to climbing—on everything, including the lamps, the screen doors and windows. And then on to “stealing” bags of treats and other items and bringing the items to the bedroom, and playing with the sun-catchers, the yoga mat, their cat “tree,” and eventually the Christmas tree and lights.

Album 3—Sleeping

Cats spend quite a lot of time sleeping. Neko and Rani are no different and accordingly, their headquarters is the master bedroom at night. Cats also spend a lot of time relaxing and basking in the sunshine. Accordingly, the sunroom became kitty headquarters during the day. Most of their sleeping time, night or day, includes cuddling.

Album 4—Buddies

While Neko and Rani, as “womb-mates,” were a natural tag-team, from Day-1, Neko wanted to be best buddies with Smooch—and he worked constantly to achieve that goal. Eventually Neko’s persistence paid off and Smooch welcomed Neko as his buddy. Rani, on the other hand, never solicited any affection or attention from Smooch…she was too busy finding ways to get into trouble. Yet, as time went on, she did spend some occasional time with the Smooch.

Album 5—Tidbits

.A potpourris of interesting odds and ends, like Rani’s fondness for ice cream and gelato, or gently biting my hand, how they both knocked the stuffings out of their favorite toys, constantly jumped on the wall, and played with all the rugs in the house, just as they did with the yoga mat—climbing over and under them—often one on top and the other underneath, and pushing them far away from where they belong.
